United States of America

Florida is the sunshine state. Summer was always more than just a season; it would always stick around during winter and fall. Since the state is mostly a swamp, swimming and fishing are very popular hobbies to enjoy. Nothing beats jumping into a warm pool with burgers cooking up on the grill. I remember when I was younger going out to the lake with my brother; standing in the scorching heat trying to catch some largemouth bass. It’s a simple life for most, many people come to Florida to retire and enjoy its beautiful weather and beaches. Just an hour away from my home was Clearwater beach. The sand is as white as freshly fallen snow, and soft to the touch of even the roughest hands. The city that I lived in was Tampa. Although Tampa has a flourishing downtown, the city is mainly suburbs with a distant countryside amongst its outskirts. Driving through the country, it won’t be a surprise to hear the moos of cows from a far, and seeing the delicate nature of horses grazing on the fresh green grass. Life in Tampa isn’t always a large vacation however, the daily rush of work and school exists just like anywhere else in the country. For some, rushing through the day doesn’t work, while others live for it. There are many opportunities for aspiring young adults looking to push their careers forward. As mentioned previously, Florida is a big fishing state. Because of this, there are a lot of business opportunities in the value-added chain for that industry. Anywhere from making fishing rods, to going out and fishing, or even running a seafood restaurant; there is a great foundation to build your business under. Additionally, since the climate in Florida is so warm, it is a popular place for people to come to for their retirement. Inevitably, as we age, there is a growing need for a caretaker or to move into a retirement home. This also provides the opportunity to be a part of helping those people.
